By registering for, accessing or using corween, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These Terms apply to business and professional users.
About corween
corween is a business monitoring and risk intelligence platform that helps organisations monitor companies, suppliers, business partners and, where supported, individuals for legitimate business, compliance, due diligence and risk management purposes, using information obtained from public, official and other supported data sources.
corween provides information and monitoring tools only. It does not provide legal, financial, investment, credit or other professional advice.
Eligibility and accounts
corween is intended primarily for businesses and professional users acting in a business capacity. By using the service, you confirm that you are authorised to bind your organisation to these Terms.
You are responsible for the accuracy of account information you provide and for keeping your account details up to date.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity carried out through your account.
The service
corween provides a software service that may include, depending on your plan:
- Monitoring of subjects (companies and other entities) selected by you
- Detection and reporting of events and changes from business registers and other supported data sources
- Alerts, notifications and reports, including severity or risk indicators
- Contract analysis and related features where available on your plan
- API, MCP and CRM or other integrations where available
- Ad-hoc checks and other features described on the Pricing page or in product documentation
- Monitoring of individuals selected by you for legitimate business, compliance, sanctions screening, due diligence or risk management purposes, where available on your plan
Features, supported countries, data sources and integrations may change over time. We may add, modify or discontinue features as the product evolves.
Data accuracy and public sources
corween relies on public registers, government databases and other third-party data sources. We do not control these sources.
We cannot guarantee that information obtained from external sources is complete, accurate, current or continuously available. Source systems may change, become unavailable, publish data with delay or contain errors.
Information provided by corween should not be relied upon as the sole basis for legal, financial, credit, procurement or other business decisions.
Monitoring and notifications
corween is designed to detect and report relevant changes, but we do not guarantee that every change or event will be detected or delivered within a particular timeframe.
Monitoring depends on the availability and behaviour of external data sources. Email, webhook, Slack, Microsoft Teams, push or other notifications may be delayed or fail due to technical issues, configuration errors or circumstances outside our control.
Sanctions and identity matching
corween may compare information about monitored individuals with sanctions lists, watchlists and other supported compliance data sources.
Matches may be based on identifiers such as name, date of birth or other available information and may result in false positives or false negatives.
A match reported by corween indicates a potential match and does not by itself establish that the monitored individual is the person appearing on the relevant list.
You are responsible for independently verifying relevant matches before taking legal, contractual, employment, procurement, compliance or other significant action based on them.
Customer data
You retain ownership of data you submit to the service, including companies, contacts, contracts and other information imported via the user interface, CSV, API, CRM, AI or MCP integrations.
You grant corween a limited licence to process your data only to the extent necessary to provide, maintain, secure and improve the service and as described in our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, Data Processing Agreement.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right to provide customer data to corween and that your use of the service complies with applicable law.
Personal data processing is described in our Privacy Policy. Where you submit personal data about third parties, you generally act as data controller and a separate Data Processing Agreement may apply.
Acceptable use
You must not use the service to:
- Violate applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, other accounts or our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the service, circumvent usage limits or security measures
- Use automated means to scrape or systematically extract data from corween except through APIs or interfaces explicitly provided for that purpose
- Resell, sublicense or redistribute the service or data obtained from it without our prior written agreement
- Monitor individuals without a legitimate business, compliance, due diligence, risk management or other lawful purpose
- Use information obtained through the service for harassment, stalking, unlawful surveillance, discrimination or other unlawful purposes
- Use a sanctions, watchlist, identity or other potential match reported by corween as the sole basis for making a decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning an individual without appropriate verification and human review
- Upload or transmit malicious code or content that could harm corween, other users or third parties
API, MCP and integrations
Where API, MCP or third-party integrations are available, additional technical limits and documentation may apply.
You are responsible for keeping API keys, tokens and integration credentials secure. Activity performed using credentials you authorise is treated as activity performed by you.
We may apply rate limits, usage quotas and other technical restrictions to protect the service.
APIs, MCP endpoints and integrations may change or be discontinued. Third-party integrations depend on services we do not control and may become unavailable at any time.
Actions performed by AI agents or other automated systems using credentials authorised by you are treated as actions performed on your behalf.
Plans, subscriptions and billing
Current plans, features, limits and prices are published on the Pricing page.
- Paid subscriptions are billed according to the selected plan and billing period shown at checkout or in your account
- Prices may exclude VAT or other taxes unless stated otherwise; applicable taxes may be added where required by law
- Upgrades, downgrades and renewals are handled according to the plan rules in effect at the time of change
- Failure to pay invoices or charges when due may result in suspension or termination of access
- Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise
Free plans and trials
We may offer free plans or trial periods subject to usage limits. We may modify, limit or discontinue free plans or trials at any time.
Cancellation and termination
You may cancel a paid subscription according to the cancellation options available in your account or by contacting us.
corween may suspend or terminate access to the service if you breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, create a security risk, use the service unlawfully or if we are required to do so by law.
After termination, we may retain or delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, applicable Data Processing Agreement and legal obligations.
Availability
We aim to keep corween available and reliable, but the service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues or circumstances outside our control. Unless agreed separately in writing, we do not guarantee any specific uptime level.
Intellectual property
corween and its licensors own the service, software, user interface, branding, documentation, scoring methodology and other proprietary materials, excluding customer data and third-party or public-source content.
Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for your internal business purposes during your subscription.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of public register data or other third-party content to corween or to you. Customer data remains yours.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, corween is not liable for decisions you make based on information from the service, for errors or omissions in third-party or public-source data, or for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages.
Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the fees paid by you to corween during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Third-party services
corween may integrate with or depend on third-party services such as payment providers, email delivery, CRM systems, messaging platforms and public registers. We are not responsible for the availability, operation or content of third-party services.
Changes to the service and Terms
We may update the service and these Terms from time to time. We will publish updated Terms on this page and adjust the "Last updated" date. Where changes are material, we will provide notice where appropriate before they take effect.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. Courts in the Slovak Republic shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
